ARA Bunker Fuel Oil Stocks Rise 15% in September
Independently held fuel oil inventories in the ARA storage hub increased to 5.30 million barrels in September, while gasoil levels held steady.

Independently held fuel oil inventories across the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp hub have expanded by approximately 15% during September so far compared to the monthly average recorded in August.
According to tracking data from Insights Global, average fuel oil volumes in the Northwest European storage and bunkering center reached 5.30 million barrels during the month-to-date period. This rise represents an absolute increase of around 680,000 barrels compared to August levels.
In contrast, middle distillate reserves in the ARA trading region showed minimal movement across the same timeframe. Independently held gasoil inventories remained virtually unchanged, holding at a monthly average of 12.08 million barrels.
The inventory data reflects product availability across primary European marine fuel blending and supply terminals, tracking supply developments across both heavy residual fuels and distillate grades.
