Ernst Russ Agrees to Sell Feeder Container Vessel Mirror
German shipowner Ernst Russ has sealed an agreement to offload an 803 TEU feeder containership, with delivery scheduled for January 2027.
Hamburg-based shipowner Ernst Russ AG has finalized an agreement to sell the small feeder containership Mirror. The transaction represents a scheduled fleet adjustment for the German maritime investment and asset management firm.
The vessel involved in the transaction provides a nominal cargo capacity of 803 TEU. Financial considerations surrounding the transaction, including the agreed purchase price, have been kept confidential by the owner, and the acquiring entity has not been named.
The physical transfer of the vessel will not occur immediately. According to the company, delivery of the feeder ship to its incoming owner is programmed to take place in January 2027.
Due to the deferred handover schedule, Ernst Russ confirmed that the divestment will have no immediate bearing on the group's current asset valuation, operational earnings, or broader financial position.
