NAVTOR Integrates Real-Time AIS Streaming Into NavFleet Platform
Maritime software specialist NAVTOR has updated its fleet monitoring solution to deliver high-frequency vessel position updates via live AIS data.
Maritime technology provider NAVTOR has incorporated real-time Automatic Identification System (AIS) streaming into its centralized NavFleet platform. The upgrade is designed to supply shipping operators with higher-frequency position reports, granting shoreside teams clearer visibility over their managed assets.
The new capability has been released as part of the NavFleet version 2.7.1 update. The functionality aims to refine operational oversight by capturing more dynamic voyage information compared to traditional, less frequent polling methods.
Technically, the streaming tool relies on NAVTOR's established digital infrastructure to capture and transmit live vessel AIS feeds directly into the fleet management interface. This continuous data flow supports enhanced situational tracking across commercial operations.
According to NAVTOR, the live AIS streaming feature is immediately available to shipowners and managers who currently hold subscriptions to the company's NavFleet monitoring services.
