Everllence Validates 175DF-M Dual-Fuel Methanol Engine in Danish Trials
Full-scale bench tests in Frederikshavn verify dual-fuel diesel and methanol performance as the manufacturer logs initial commercial commitments.

Engine developer Everllence has initiated full-scale testing of its 12-cylinder 175DF-M dual-fuel methanol platform at its specialized Test and Research Center situated in Frederikshavn, Denmark.
The manufacturer confirmed that the trial program successfully demonstrated the high-speed engine's operational capabilities across both standard diesel and methanol combustion modes.
Alongside the testing milestone, Everllence announced that it has already secured its opening commercial agreements for the machinery. The initial orders encompass 12V and 16V175DF-M variable-speed generator sets scheduled for handover to two superyacht clients in mid-2027.
Florian Keiler, Sales and Business Development Manager at Everllence, noted that the trial results support the deployment of the dual-fuel design across several target maritime sectors, including tugs, offshore assets, passenger ships, governmental vessels, and superyachts.
