GTMaritime Introduces Fleetwide Software Deployment Tool GT Hub Operate
The maritime communications provider has expanded its digital platform with a new module enabling shore-based IT teams to deploy software directly to vessels.

Maritime communications specialist GTMaritime has broadened the capabilities of its GT Hub platform with the introduction of a new module named Operate. The addition is designed to allow shore-based IT departments to transmit software deployments directly to vessels across a commercial fleet.
The new Operate module functions in conjunction with the company's existing GT Hub Identify solution. By integrating these systems, the platform links the monitoring of shipboard digital assets and operational vulnerabilities with the direct capability to take action on those findings from shore.
Centralized software management addresses operational demands across the maritime sector, where technical teams require streamlined methods to distribute updates, patches, and configurations to remote systems at sea. Connecting asset visibility with deployment mechanisms helps operators maintain software consistency across their fleets.
With the launch of the Operate module, shoreside technical staff gain direct operational control over the deployment process, bridging the gap between identifying onboard IT requirements and executing system updates remotely.
