Cargo handling and marine equipment specialist MacGregor has expanded its European service presence with the launch of a new service engineer hub in Trieste, Italy.
Officially opened on 1 September 2026, the Italian location was established to increase the company's regional engineering capacity and deliver direct technical assistance to maritime clients.
The Trieste hub will serve as an operational base for engineers supporting customer requirements across the broader European territory.
MacGregor expects the newly established engineering facility to achieve full operational capability by the end of 2026.
