MacGregor Secures Major RoRo Equipment Contract for TT-Line Hybrid Ferries
Cargo handling specialist MacGregor has finalized an agreement with China Merchants Jinling Shipyard to supply RoRo equipment for two new battery-hybrid LNG vessels.

Cargo handling equipment provider MacGregor has secured a contract to supply comprehensive RoRo equipment packages for two newbuild battery-hybrid liquefied natural gas (LNG) ferries ordered by TT-Line.
The commercial agreements were executed directly with China Merchants Jinling Shipyard, the Chinese shipbuilder responsible for constructing the two RoPax newbuildings.
MacGregor highlighted that the delivery package constitutes one of the most extensive RoPax equipment scopes the company has undertaken to date, supporting the technical requirements of the dual-fuel hybrid ferry designs.
The transaction has been formally booked into MacGregor's order intake for the second quarter of 2026.
