Maersk Implements Revised Truck Fuel Surcharges for Skopje and Cyprus
Carrier adjusts inland road transport fuel fees across regional corridors in response to continued market pressures in the Middle East.
A.P. Moller - Maersk has introduced revised road haulage fuel surcharges for cargo moving through Skopje and Cyprus, with the updated structure scheduled to take effect from 21 September 2026.
According to the carrier, the newly scheduled adjustment places the inland truck fuel surcharge for the Skopje market at 22.5 percent. Simultaneously, trucking movements operating across Cyprus will be subject to a revised fuel surcharge rate of 15 percent.
The global logistics company attributed the upward adjustments in overland transport rates to climbing fuel expenditures stemming from the prolonged geopolitical situation across the Middle East.
Maersk noted that the updated billing adjustments will be itemised directly on relevant customer documentation and invoices under the Export Fuel designation.
