Maersk Revises Intermodal Fuel Fees Across Southeast European Road Network
A.P. Moller - Maersk has announced an update to its road-based intermodal fuel surcharge structure across five markets in Southeast Europe.

A.P. Moller - Maersk has confirmed an upcoming revision to its Intermodal Fuel Fee structure covering trucking operations in Southeast Europe. The adjusted pricing schedule will take effect from 7 September 2026, altering overland transport tariffs in the region.
The revised road haulage fees will be implemented across five specific countries: Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro, and Serbia. The adjustments apply directly to the carrier's truck transportation services connecting regional logistics corridors.
According to the advisory, the implementation of the updated fees will be calculated based on the cargo delivery date. Consequently, shipments delivered on or after the specified effective date will be assessed under the new tariff levels.
The container logistics provider stated that the updated fee framework will remain in effect until further notice, serving as part of its ongoing management of inland transport operating expenses.
