Qatari LNG Tanker Navigates Strait of Hormuz Into Gulf of Oman
The liquefied natural gas carrier Al Marrouna has transited the Strait of Hormuz for the first time since July after lifting cargo in Qatar.

A Qatari liquefied natural gas carrier has completed a transit through the Strait of Hormuz, marking the vessel's first recorded passage through the key waterway since July.
The vessel, identified as the Al Marrouna, was observed operating in the Gulf of Oman on Tuesday morning local time following its outbound passage from the Persian Gulf.
Prior to navigating the strait, the tanker had taken on a cargo of liquefied natural gas at a loading facility in Qatar early last month.
The movement places the laden gas tanker in open waters outside the Persian Gulf as it proceeds along commercial shipping routes in the region.
