TenneT Selects Deep for Multi-Year Offshore Cable Survey Program
Dutch transmission operator TenneT has contracted Amsterdam-based survey specialist Deep to carry out annual subsea cable inspections through 2029.

Transmission system operator TenneT has awarded a multi-year service agreement to Dutch marine survey contractor Deep to oversee the integrity monitoring of its offshore power cable grid.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Amsterdam-based company will conduct recurring annual inspection campaigns over a four-year timeframe spanning from 2026 through 2029.
The operational scope calls for deploying hydrographic and geophysical surveying techniques to assess the condition and burial depth of the subsea transmission lines across the network.
In addition to measuring cable cover, the survey campaigns will identify seabed features, shifting morphology, and foreign objects that could present physical hazards to the integrity of the offshore infrastructure.
