WiseTech Outlines AI-Driven Evolution for CargoWise Software
Logistics software provider WiseTech is positioning its CargoWise platform to transition from standard freight record-keeping into an artificial intelligence execution system.

Logistics software developer WiseTech is progressing plans to reshape its flagship CargoWise platform, aiming to transform the software from a traditional record-keeping tool into an artificial intelligence-driven system of execution for the freight forwarding sector.
Under the direction of WiseTech Chief Executive Officer Zubin Appoo, the software firm is targeting a structural shift in how freight operations are managed digitally. For more than two decades, the platform has functioned primarily as a centralised repository where forwarders record operational and commercial data.
The strategic transition toward automated execution comes at a critical juncture for standard transport management systems, as enterprise logistics software increasingly moves toward automated workflows and integrated data processing.
Alongside this technical evolution, WiseTech continues to manage broader operational dynamics, including a shifting commercial relationship with major logistics provider DSV, the rollout of an updated pricing framework, and surrounding regulatory considerations across international transport markets.
