Baltic Dry Index Extends Winning Streak to Four Consecutive Sessions
The Baltic Exchange's main freight benchmark climbed 1.5% on Tuesday to reach its highest level since mid-August, supported by Capesize gains.

The Baltic Exchange's headline dry bulk freight index sustained its upward trajectory on Tuesday, marking a fourth straight day of advances across the sector.
The composite index, which tracks charter rates across vessels carrying dry bulk commodities, rose by approximately 1.5% to settle at 2,926 points.
With Tuesday's increase, the benchmark reached its strongest level recorded since August 12, extending a multi-session rebound.
The market for larger bulkers also maintained positive momentum, with the Capesize index advancing for a fourth consecutive trading day. Capesize vessels typically transport 150,000-tonne cargoes, predominantly industrial raw materials including iron ore and coal.
