French ocean carrier CMA CGM has confirmed impending tariff revisions across several global trade lanes, introducing updates to its baseline freight pricing and supplementary fees.

Under the planned adjustments, the shipping line will enforce new Freight All Kinds rate levels specifically applying to export movements originating from the East Coast of South America.

Beyond the South American outbound rate changes, the company is also scheduled to apply additional cost-recovery measures across other key commercial corridors. These include Rate Restoration Initiatives as well as Peak Season Surcharges on designated routes.

The comprehensive package of updated base freight tariffs and supplemental surcharges is scheduled to enter into force on 1 October.
