DHL Global Forwarding Enters Uruguay Through Aero Cargas Acquisition
The deal establishes DHL's first direct operational footprint in Uruguay, consolidating a commercial relationship spanning more than three decades.

DHL Global Forwarding has completed the acquisition of Aero Cargas S.A., formalising the logistics group's first direct operational presence in Uruguay.
The strategic takeover strengthens the carrier's footprint across Latin America, expanding its freight management and transport network within the Southern Cone region.
Aero Cargas had previously acted in partnership with DHL Group for 33 years, providing local forwarding and agency representation prior to the full ownership transition.
Following the completion of the buyout, the Uruguayan company will be integrated directly into DHL Global Forwarding's regional network infrastructure.
