Ocean carrier Hapag-Lloyd has scheduled a vessel adjustment on its trade route linking the Mediterranean with the West Coast of South America. The fleet change will take effect on the carrier's dedicated MSW loop during September.

Under the updated operational schedule, the containership Cape Corfu will phase out of the service rotation following voyage 637S. The vessel is scheduled to conclude its position in the loop at the transshipment hub of Tanger Med on 16 September.

The incoming vessel Puerto Limon Express will step in to maintain the rotation under voyage 637S, taking over sailing duties along the Mediterranean-South America West Coast itinerary.

Hapag-Lloyd indicated that import cargo onboard the Cape Corfu will be transferred at Tanger Med to facilitate ongoing delivery across the network.
