MSC Sets Revised Transatlantic Freight Rates from Northern Europe
Mediterranean Shipping Company has detailed updated freight pricing for cargo moving from Northern European ports to destinations across North America and the Caribbean.

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced an updated freight rate structure for transatlantic cargo flows moving westbound from Northern Europe. The revised tariff covers shipments departing from Northwest Continental European gateways as well as terminals across the Scandinavia and Baltic regions.
The adjustments will apply to multiple destination markets across North America and the Caribbean. Specifically, the carrier identified discharge locations including the United States, Canada, and Mexico, along with Puerto Rico and the Bahamas.
According to the line's schedule, the new pricing terms are slated to come into force starting 1 October 2026 and will continue in effect until further notice.
For cargo routed to the United States, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico, MSC stated that the new rate application will be governed by the container gate-in date at the port of origin.
