Tidewater Concludes $500m Acquisition in Brazil
Tidewater has finalised the $500 million takeover of Wilson Sons Ultratug Offshore, adding 22 platform supply vessels to its fleet.

Houston-based offshore support vessel operator Tidewater has completed the acquisition of Wilson Sons Ultratug Offshore in an all-cash transaction valued at $500 million.
The closing of the deal formalises the purchase of Wilson Sons Ultratug Participações and affiliate Atlantic Offshore Services. The transaction reached completion on August 31, concluding a process that began when the deal was first announced six months prior.
Through the acquisition, Tidewater takes control of 22 platform supply vessels. The integration of the assets delivers a significant expansion of the company's operational capacity and footprint across Brazilian waters.
The addition of the fleet strengthens the US-headquartered company's regional deployment as it absorbs the Brazilian offshore support assets into its wider commercial network.
