Descartes Unveils AI Agent Coordination Platform for Logistics Networks
The new Descartes Agent Control Plane aims to automate multi-party logistics workflows using artificial intelligence across global supply chain networks.
Descartes Systems Group has launched a new artificial intelligence agent coordination system designed to automate complex operational workflows across enterprise software, commercial partners, and supply chain applications.
Named the Descartes Agent Control Plane, the system was formally introduced to the industry during the technology provider's Innovation Forum event in Chicago.
The deployment is built on top of the company's existing infrastructure, the Descartes Global Logistics Network. Through this established foundation, the platform enables autonomous AI agents to manage and synchronize multiple processes spanning diverse digital environments.
By facilitating automated task coordination across commercial ecosystems, the solution focuses on improving operational data exchange and collaboration between shipping, transport, and logistics participants.
