MOL Consolidates Six Ship Management Arms into Unified Global Entity
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines has merged six of its ship management subsidiaries into MOL Global Ship Management, bringing technical oversight of more than 200 vessels under a single roof.

Japanese shipping major Mitsui O.S.K. Lines has finalised the integration of six separate ship management subsidiaries into a single organisation, establishing MOL Global Ship Management Pte. Ltd.
Under the new structure, the centralised entity assumes unified management responsibility for more than 200 vessels operating across the broader MOL Group fleet.
According to the group, the consolidation is designed to aggregate quality and safety data along with operational insights that were previously divided across different regional hubs. Bringing these resources together aims to reinforce specialist technical expertise and oversight across the organisation.
Moving forward, the integrated company intends to standardise and streamline fleet workflows by deploying digital solutions, specifically citing the application of artificial intelligence and data analytics across its maritime operations.
