Nord Gas Solutions Wins Fuel and Cargo System Deal for Gas Carrier Pair
Newly rebranded equipment specialist Nord Gas Solutions has been selected to deliver cargo and LPG fuel supply systems for two medium gas carriers ordered by Byzantine Maritime.

Nord Gas Solutions has been awarded a contract to deliver cargo handling and fuel supply equipment for a pair of medium gas carriers ordered by Greek shipping company Byzantine Maritime.
Under the arrangement, the vendor will supply both the cargo handling systems and the liquefied petroleum gas fuel supply systems for the two 40,000-cubic-metre newbuildings, which are currently being built at South Korean shipbuilder HD Hyundai.
The commercial agreement was formally completed in June and officially disclosed by Nord Gas Solutions on 8 September.
The contract represents a notable project for Nord Gas Solutions under its new corporate identity. The brand was created following the acquisition of Wärtsilä Gas Solutions by investment firm Mutares SE & Co., a transaction that took effect on 1 June this year.
Commenting on the project award, Patrick Ha, sales manager at Nord Gas Solutions, expressed satisfaction at the company being chosen to supply the dual newbuilding programme.
