A bulk export terminal has completed a berth upgrade that operators say will improve loading rates and reduce vessel waiting time, according to a port authority announcement.
The project added conveyor capacity and upgraded shiploader equipment, allowing larger parcel sizes to be handled without additional shifting.
Terminal management said the works were delivered without interruption to existing operations, and that the facility will now be able to accommodate a higher throughput of dry bulk cargo.
